The High School Awards Program

   The Marine Corps'  annual initiative called the High School Awards Program is not being conducted at this time. The High School Awards Program normally begins in February with a mail out to all High Schools and ends upon completion of all High School Awards Nights. When this mail out is received, educators visit this web site to nominate students for the three awards; Distinguished Athlete, Scholastic Excellence and Semper Fidelis Bandsman.  The awards are prepared in time to be delivered to the local Marine Recruiters for presentation. Marine recruiters present the awards at High School Awards Nights. 

The purpose of making the awards is to assist you, the Educator, in recognizing a deserving student in your school.
